On behalf of everyone at Save-A-Vet and the soldiers we are working to care for, we would like to thank you for your support.

There are multiple ways to donate. Below is a list of items needed now and for the future. We are also always looking for volunteers. A volunteer does not always mean hands on work, but can also be someone with more experience in areas that we need help. Any way you choose to help, we greatly appreciate.

In addition, we strive to help all deployed K-9 units, law enforcement, fire, search and rescue along with all other government agencies that are unable to provide the many needed supplies to care for these comrades. We send out care packages overseas and state-side as much as possible.

It is our job to care for those who fight to keep us safe.

Current Items Needed for Save-A-Vet

K-9 Treats (packaged to ship overseas)

K-9 Toys (assorted)

K-9 Cooling Vests (all sizes)

K-9 Booties (so far Fido Fleece have worked the best)

Telescoping Ramps (example shown at www.drsfostersmith.com)

Flotation Vests (used for K-9's during pier sweeps)

Dog Blankets (used in colder regions such as Afghanastan)

Office Equipment (assorted)

Labtops, Desktops, printers, electronic storage devices, projectors

Software of all kind, i.e., graphics, accounting, web design, architect, etc.

Vehicles (do not need to be working, but must have a solid frame), desperatly in need of Cargo Vans, Mini Vans and similar. American Made a Plus

Construction Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.

Heavy Equipment (does not have to be operational, but MUST be able to be fixed),

All Donations that are larger than mailed items such as vehicles, trailers, construction material etc., should contact dlscheurer@saveavet.org, so we may arrange drop off at one of our donated storage facilities. With the support of our volunteers, some donations can be arranged to be picked up. Thank you for your support.

 

To make a monetary donation:

Save-A-Vet has close relationships with a large amount of other non-profit organizations. If you have anything that you wish to donate, that you believe can be used, we will find a use for it within our organization or one of our friends. We are also always excepting items to be used for raffles at our fundraisers.

The Save-A-Vet Direct Action is an easy way to make your regular contribution, and you can do it in a way that helps both you and us manage our budgets. Your contribution will go even farther to help care for Military and Police Working Dogs!

It's easy to sign-up! On the donation form below, simply choose "Monthly" "Quartlery" or "Yearly"  from the drop down menu "Frequency".

You will receive a receipt by e-mail for all your donations, unless one reciept is requested for the end of the year total.
