Come out and Pet Julio a rescued donkey, who was removed from two farms where he was neglected and abused. Julio, now a resident of Spring Grove is 100% healed and loves the attention of children.

The mission of Walk On Academy is to partner at risk children with neglected horses in an educational and therapeutic environment, so they may regain the ability to develop trusting and loving relationships by bonding with and caring for one another, leading to a healthier and more promising future.

Guardian Angels for Soldier's Pet, an ALL volunteer 501c3 nonprofit public charity formed in January 2005 after learning that military service members across the country had pets that needed a caring, loving, and safe home to care for them during the pet owner's deployment to fight the global war on terrorism, but had been unable to find someone to care for them. This left the military pet owners with only one option, which was to relinquish their beloved pets and pet ownership rights to a humane society, animal shelter, or animal rescue group never to see their pets again, know if they were placed in a new home, or ended up being euthanized.

We provide comprehensive services including, a caring and safe haven for our cats and dogs. Medical and behavioral assistance to mend broken spirits and bodies. Adoption services with careful screening and thoughtful placement practice Long term care for residents who are not adopted. A refuge for homeless, sick or injured cats and dogs. Community education promoting responsible pet guardianship and the importance of spay/neuter practice. Community leadership through alliances with other humane organizations. Community referral to low cost spay/neuter services.
